Europe and Switzerland, given the introduction of the euro and the uncertain direction
of technology? Janus worked with Telekurs-Payserv management to answer these questions,
identifying the firm's value proposition and core competencies, and designing and
leading a scenario planning workshop that included a cross-functional management
team and outside expertise. The resulting scenarios were used to map the company's

Corporation is a diversified financial services company, active in banking, asset
management, wealth management, and corporate and investment banking products and
services. Janus Global designed and delivered for this company a comprehensive

Bata Shoes is the world’s largest shoe
company, vertically integrated operating in 62 countries. Janus Global designed
and facilitated several scenario sessions throughout the world addressing the country
managers’ need to operate more strategically, anticipating regional economic changes,
adopt new retailing models, and look for appropriate cross-company synergies.<top>

Polytainers is a North American leader
in the design, production and printing of thinwall rigid plastic containers for
the food and dairy industry. Future uncertainties in packaging technology and design,
consumer trends and environmental values framed the scenario planning process. Janus
Global designed and facilitated a comprehensive scenario planning process involving
the CEO and the Polytainer’s executive team.<top>

Ontario (LAO)
Business process alignment and competency development were
core concerns for LAO, a new tier-three, $600 million Ontario corporation. Janus
facilitated a broad ranging scenario planning process to meet these challenges,
involving managers, stakeholders and board in an effort to identify needed competencies
for the future. With this information, Janus helped the organization map a strategic
plan, then worked with management to develop consensus across the organization.<top>
